The winter months are as uselly a bit slow. But there are some news 🙂

Lets take the sad once first:

«Dory» DE The Bitch Is Back IX is not gonna be breed this year. Unfortunately the heart US shown a minimal leak off heart. Considering that she is not even 3 years yet its not clear if its a «physical» leak or mini-mini start off heart problems that will come in 5 years or so.

So she will not be breed this year, and decision if I will breed her will be taken in 1,5-2 years after next heart US.

And yes, the form says she has a normal heart from the cardiologist. But she still have a small-small leak that we don’t know if is the start off something or not. She would not say not breed, but still recommended waiting 2 years time.

I’ll rather be safe then sorry

The other sad news is that «Kitka» DE Pin&Tonic X had to have PL surgery. She was clear off PL at the end off August’23, but had an accident. If it was a weeknes structually or just the accident is imposible to say.

So now the more happy parts.

We do plan to breed at the end off 2024, if I can find a male that I think will fit. The female will then be «Navi» NUCH NJW’21 NordW’23 DeepEyes Delicious VIII. She is in B-tracking in the Nordic program and also trains herding. There is also a plan that she will do the MT/Korad (if we can get a place, its always difficult to get a spot). Navi also did some «cat sayving» during the winter and heres that story:

«My neighbours lost their inside only cat in -10c, and Navi was a big help in capturing it – sniffing out the cats hiding spots, and confirming where it hadn’t been. The cat was captured just before the New years eve fireworks began «

«Harly» DE Small Chance of Success II has had a check up on his heart again and the leak is still there, but unchanged and numbers are good. He is still fit and strong at 13,5 years.

«Kermit» DE Pin’em Up X has been to his first dogshow, he had fun and paddled around *lol* And got a Very Good.

«Tuuri» FIUCH FIAGCH FIAGH-H FILCH HeJW15 TK4 RTK3 DeepEyes Possibly Maybe V is expecting his first litter, unfortunately due to ultrasound there is only one puppy on the way. Hoping for 1-2 suprise puppies.
